Notification

General Consultation:

A standard 10-minute appointment with a General Practitioner (GP) to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage common health concerns.

Mental Health Care Plan:

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is developed by your GP to support the management of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional concerns.

Note: To access MHCP services at our practice, patients must be registered with MyMedicare. MHCP services can only be provided following a face-to-face consultation with your GP.

Minor Surgical Procedures:

  1. Skin cancer biopsies and excisions
  2. Surgical removal of ingrown toenails
  3. Implanon insertion and removal
  4. Removal of foreign bodies from ears, eyes, and nose

Vaccination:

We provide vaccinations under the National Immunisation Program (NIP), including those available for patients aged 65 years and over. Private vaccines, including influenza and whooping cough vaccines, may also be available. Please contact our reception team to enquire about availability.

Note: We do not stock COVID-19 vaccinations.

Worker’s Compensation Medical Certificate:

A Workers Compensation Medical Certificate is completed by a GP following a workplace injury or work-related illness and is required as part of the workers compensation claim process.

Note: Please note unless you have an existing and valid claim number from your insurer, you may be charged a fee at time of consultation. Please inform our reception team when booking if your appointment relates to a work-related injury.

Motor Accident Compensation:

The MAC is an NT Government Scheme which supports all Northern Territory road users injured in motor vehicle accidents (MVA).

This includes drivers, passengers, pedestrians, motorcycle and bicycle riders. Northern Territory residents involved in an MVA interstate with an NT registered vehicle are also eligible for MAC support.

If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and are eligible to receive MAC support, your medical assessments, treatment and rehabilitation will be covered under the MAC Scheme. Please note that such services are prohibited to be billed under Medicare and therefore we wouldn’t be able to use Medicare fund despite you having a valid Medicare card.

Please note that until you have received a valid MAC Claim Number from TIO, you may be charged a fee at the time of consultation. Once your claim has been approved, any out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed to you under the MAC.

Health Check:

Health Check is a preventive medical assessment done by a GP to evaluate a patient’s overall health and identify risk factors for disease before symptoms appear. It focuses on prevention and early detection rather than the treatment of existing conditions.

GP Chronic Condition Management (GPCCMP):

A GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) is a structured care plan developed by your GP to help manage chronic medical conditions that require ongoing care and support.

Note: Patients must be registered with MyMedicare before GPCCMP services can be provided.
