Most Medicare eligible services are bulk-billed, meaning they come at no cost to you – given that you have a valid Medicare card and consent to bulk billing.
Under new Medicare arrangements, you’ll simply sign an Assignment of Benefit (AoB) Form which authorizes the surgery to send the bill to Medicare.
For telehealth services, you’ll need to provide verbal consent for our administration staff to sign the AoB Form on your behalf.
Certain Medicare eligible services, including surgical procedures may incur a fee. In these cases, the patient may receive a Medicare rebate which reimburses some of the total cost of the service.
Please note that some services, including third party medical assessments, medical reports and some private vaccinations are not covered under Medicare and may incur a privately payable fee.
